個(gè)人是否可以注冊域名,個(gè)人可以注冊域名嗎?
不同域名機(jī)構(gòu)對域名注冊有不同的規(guī)定，有些域名個(gè)人不能注冊，有些則沒有限制。注冊國際域名沒有任何限制，采用誰先注冊歸誰所有的原則，只要域名還沒有被別人注冊，任何單位和個(gè)人均可以注冊。
國內(nèi)域名注冊原來規(guī)定個(gè)人不能注冊，現(xiàn)在也已經(jīng)完全放開，允許個(gè)人注冊。基本上也采取了國際域名的注冊規(guī)則，即：誰先注冊歸誰所有的原則，只要域名還沒有被別人注冊，任何單位和個(gè)人均可以注冊。
關(guān)于域名概念的考證
（1）中國互聯(lián)網(wǎng)絡(luò)信息中心（CNNIC）對于域名的解釋
域名類似于互聯(lián)網(wǎng)上的門牌號碼，是用于識別和定位互聯(lián)網(wǎng)上計(jì)算機(jī)的層次結(jié)構(gòu)式字符標(biāo)識，與該計(jì)算機(jī)的互聯(lián)網(wǎng)協(xié)議（IP）地址相對應(yīng)。但相對于IP地址而言，更便于使用者理解和記憶。域名屬于互聯(lián)網(wǎng)上的基礎(chǔ)服務(wù)，基于域名可以提供WWW、EMAIL、FTP等應(yīng)用服務(wù)。
（2）國際互聯(lián)網(wǎng)名稱和地址分配組織（The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers，ICANN）對域名的定義
ICANN是域名的管理機(jī)構(gòu)，對于域名的定義應(yīng)該是最權(quán)威的，不過目前從ICANN網(wǎng)站上并沒有發(fā)現(xiàn)關(guān)于“domain name”這一定義，而是關(guān)于“Domain Name System”（域名系統(tǒng)）：
